NO WANDERING

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Hagar wandered into the wilderness. She journeyed to the place of dryness. The same person who had been seen by El Roi, chose to wander into the wilderness. Hagar moved towards the place of unfruitfulness. She journeyed to the place of barrenness. To wander is to move aimlessly. So Hagar moved aimlessly until she got to the point where she was surrounded by dryness.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be a wanderer in destiny. You will not move to the place of unfruitfulness. You will not journey in dryness. You will not make movements that will take you nowhere. You will not make movements that will leave you without results. You will not make movements that will stagnate your destiny. You will not make movements that will leave you empty handed. You will not end in the wilderness.

Notice that Hagar did not ordinarily wake up on her own and chose to go into the wilderness. She was ordered to leave the home of Abraham, and her journey took her to the wilderness. She ended in dryness, but it was not her plan for herself and her child. Hear me as I hear the Lord: powers that cause men to end in dryness, I decree, you are not their candidate. Policies, decisions, etc. of men will not take you to the wilderness.

For everywhere that you have wandered, the Lord rescues you. God is pulling you out of every place of dryness. God is setting you free from every bondage and evil speaking that says you will make movement without making real progress. Any power of hell that says you will keep moving but you will have nothing to show for it, may the hand of God be stretched out against it. May the hand of the Lord carry you to a pathway of His will for you.

The days of wandering are definitely over. You may have been in the wilderness in time past, but not in 2024.
