Dear Reader,
Welcome to the concluding part of this teaching. Previously, we looked at what purity is and a few areas of the same. This week, we shall conclude on the topic, The Reward of Purity, as we consider the third area of purity.
Your Action
God weighs your actions, dispositions, attitude, mood and positioning. Attitude greatly affects destiny; your attitude determines your altitude in life and how high you go. The Word says: … for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed (1 Samuel 2:3b). Your action can speak, so you must be discipline-conscious in your actions to live a life of purity. Your action can be read like a book. As it is written: Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Do not wait for someone to run after you before you do what is right. You have the Spirit of God inside you, so you know the right from the wrong. Speaking of Jesus, Isaiah 7:15 says: Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. If you carry a disposition that murmurs, grumbles and complains now that you are single, it already places a limit on the security of your destiny. No matter your situation, rather than murmur, give thanks, and your future is guaranteed!
I know a single lady who was 45 years old and needed a marital breakthrough. Rather than murmur and complain, she gave God thanks 7,000 times, and her miracle husband emerged. At the time she gave her testimony, she was gloriously married. If she had not disciplined her disposition, she probably would still be single till now. Your action is a product of your thought. God’s Word says: Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:17-18). So, mind what you feed on. You must feed on the Word of God always, and it will keep you from sin. Renew your mind and guard your heart against dwelling on the wrong things. Also, feed on anointed books.
What are the Rewards of Purity?
It secures divine presence.It guarantees answers to prayers.It brings honour.It brings beauty.It eliminates fears.You are sure of divine guidance.
Your relationship with God informs what you think or say, but until you accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you cannot have a relationship with God. So, if you are not born again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born Again.
