Message Title: Gateways to Financial Fortune || Bishop David Oyedepo (Part 2A)

Sub-topic: The Secret behind Our Exemption in Hard Times

Speaker: Bishop David Oyedepo

Introduction
Returns on seed sown are in grades and a measure of your understanding.

“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:” Matthew 13:23 – 24.

Just align with the terms of the covenant so you can continue to generate results seamlessly, as it is the love content of your giving that determines the outcome. Anything done in love never fails, because love never fails.
Are you truly in love with God or are you on a quest for money?
The covenant of seedtime and harvest is the gateway to a world of supernatural blessings and the secret behind exemption in hard times.
Only those who embrace the covenant of seedtime and harvest will smile in hard times!

“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.”
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:20 – 22.

There is equality of access in divine abundance; no one is more privileged than the other.

“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.” Romans 10:12.

What makes you rich in the Kingdom is the blessings of the Lord and this can only be attracted by your obedience, not your skill or strength.

“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22.
“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
“Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?” Malachi 3:6 – 7.

To stay healthy financially, keep giving as the blessing of God grows in your life.
Giving is defined as sowing.

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 2 Corinthians 9:7- 8.

Our seed is a spiritual transaction that provokes spiritual blessings on our lives.
“And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.”1 kings 3:4.

Don’t die of financial constipation!
As God has blessed every man so let him give; Luke 12:16 – 22.
“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.” Deuteronomy 16:17.

Only giant givers emerge as financial giants!
Only givers qualify to prosper in the kingdom.

Fundamental Terms of the Covenant of Abundance
1.Tithing: A key to a world of supernatural blessings.
“And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:”
“And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.” Genesis 14:19 – 20.
“And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29

“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.” Leviticus 27:30.
“And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.”
“And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.” Hebrews 7:7 – 8.
Jesus is the one that receives our tithe as our eternal high priest in heaven
There is nothing you tithe from that goes down!

2.Worship offerings.
“They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.” John 8:39.
“Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:”
“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.” Deuteronomy 16:16 -17.
What defines your giving is sowing according to the blessings upon your life; don’t give trash.

4.Rearing an altar of sacrifice to the Lord.
“Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” Psalm 50:5.
The altar of sacrifice will provoke defined intervention and bring God’s favour upon your life.

3.Giving towards Kingdom advancement; Haggai 1:3 -13.

5.Giving to the challenged.
We don’t call them poor in the church we call them the challenged because the challenged today who are working in the covenant will be the champions of tomorrow.
“(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.”
“The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.”
“The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.”
“I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.” Psalms 41:1- 4.

Money cannot preserve you in the day of trouble; showing favour to the challenged will preserve your destiny.

6.Giving to parents.
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.”
“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)”
“That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” Ephesians 6:1- 3.

When you honour your parents with your seed, God’s blessings will doubtlessly rest upon your life.

7.Giving to the ministers of the gospel as you are led.
“If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?” 1 Corinthians 9:11.
Note: Contentment is not weakness it secures the future!

Encounter with Destiny Ministration
Every child of God is a child of destiny; you were not redeemed to live like a destitute.
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” Romans 8:29 – 30.
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3
.
Your destiny is not a destination; it is an adventure. Destinies are in process and arrivals are in phases.

“Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.” 1 Corinthians 3:18.
No one is born a giant. Everyone arrives here as a baby.

“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7.
Everyone has a small beginning; all you need to do is nurture your small beginning so you can arrive at an enviable future.
The adventure of destiny begins from where we are now.

“And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:” Genesis 13:14.
“For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:14.

We’re to be envied not pitied!

Every child of God has a:

Glorious destiny

prosperous destiny

royal destiny

enviable destiny

pace-setting destiny.
It is trading the truth that enhances your destiny in the Kingdom.
“And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.” Luke 19:17.

“And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:”
“For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14 -15.

To Actualize and Fulfill Destiny:

Be born again and remain so.

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

“Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:12 – 14.

Be spiritually minded.

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15.

Be committed to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Stay in love with God.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.

Be committed to craving after increasing revelation.
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18.

Be committed to a lifestyle of praise and worship.

“And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.” Numbers 21:1.
“Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.” 1 Corinthians 10:10.

Destiny is a most elastic adventure in the kingdom!
