Shiloh 2023 – The Opening Night

On-going: Word Session

It’s time for why we are here – the Word of encounters. God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo brings us the first Message at Shiloh 2023.

Title: GATEWAYS TO FLOURISHING IN HARD TIMES: A Call For Spiritual Renewal Towards Flourishing in Hard Times

Ministering: Bishop David Oyedepo

Your rescue from these hard times demands spiritual renewal for delivery. – Heb. 2:3, Col. 1:13

Your rescue begins with salvation but demands spiritual renewal for delivery. – Heb. 2:3, Col. 1:8

Behind the struggles of the redeemed is a lack of the fear of the Lord.

Nothing flies in hard times like the fear of the Lord.

Daniel was indestructible because he was living in the fear of the Lord. – Dan. 6:4-5

The fear of God gives you your place in space.

The fear of the Lord is the custodian of every great destiny. – 1 Cor. 3:11, 2 Tim. 2:19-21

Revelation is inaccessible without the fear of the Lord. – Ps. 25:14

The secret things belong to God and He only reveals His secrets to those who fear Him. – Ps. 25:14

We are in a time where we need revelation to escape the horrors of the days.

You can’t be carnal and access the secrets of the Lord.

There is a need for a turning if you want to see what God is showing you.

The sure foundation of every great destiny in the kingdom is a deliberate departure from whatever displeases God.

No one can command the supernatural like a spiritual person.

Your life can never be more fulfilling physically than it is spiritually.

You must get back on key to realize God’s agenda for this end-time. – Ps. 33:18

It is your spiritual stand that determines your flourishing in hard times.

Jesus is the Sun of Righteousness; when you align with Him, you reflect His glory without stress.

You lose everything when you lose your stand with God. – Judg. 16:20-21

Activity is not the same as spirituality.

Your stewardship cannot be any more profitable than your spirituality

You are not changed by what you read, hear or preach; you are changed by what you see. – 2 Cor. 3:18

Stay permanently on duty, and God will keep paying you without retiring.

There is nowhere sin is justified in the Bible. It is an aberration!

It’s time to renew your spiritual life to maximize Gods agenda over your life.

If sin does not become a thing of the past in your life, it will block your way into the future.

It is time to reposition!

Jealously guard your walk with God. – Act. 24:16, 2 Cor. 1:12; 4:1-2

Faith loses its potency where a good conscience is lacking. – 1 Tim 1:19

You cannot take your trust off God and put it on men and expect things to work. It won’t work!

Faith with a pure conscience is the faith that works.

Transformation begins with a renewal of the mind.

You must reposition spiritually to possess your possessions.

Your inheritance demands sanctification for delivery.

Sin is not your friend; it is your enemy! – Isa. 25:6

It is not enough to be born again, you must endeavor to stay alive in Christ by denouncing sin in all its ramifications.

Sin can kill and destroy.

Sin may be pleasurable, but if you live and walk in it, you are dead!

What is Spirituality?

1. It is a crave for godliness -1 Tim. 4:7-8

2. It is a crave to please God at all cost. -John 8:29, Heb. 12:4

3. It is a faith-driven determination to live a holy life. -1 Pet. 1:15-16, Phil. 3:13-14, John 1:17

4. It is a delightsome obedience to the commandments of the scriptures. – Ps. 112:2-3, 2 Cor. 6:17-18
