RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM, DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S SERVANT REV (DR) LIZZY JOHNSON SULEMAN.

FRIDAY, 1ST MAY 2020.

BIBLE READING: PSALM 1-3.

TOPIC: WHERE LIES YOUR CONFIDENCE?

TEXT: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.” Hebrews 10:35.

The concern of the enemy is your confidence. If you can keep your confidence, you will break the stand of the enemy. No matter the contradiction of life that comes your way, do not lose your confidence. When you hoped to be promoted and what you got was a demotion, lose not your confidence, even in the midst of it all, yet praise the Lord, yet walk with your head high, yet declare the truth of God’s Word, yet be joyful because God is in charge and He is mindful of you (Psalm 8:4).

He will not leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Where lies your confidence? In that very situation, He will turn it around in your Favour because He is the master of promotions. (Psalms 75:6).
When the enemy sees your confidence, they are troubled thinking you have a backup to yourself which makes you not bothered at all.
God rewards confidence; your confidence in Him, not in the arm of the flesh. When God empowers you with talents and skills, grow in them and be confident to produce the best of you that will bring glory to His Name. Don’t exclude the grace of God in your confidence, every confidence of a believer is channeled to God who gives him what to be confident about. Therefore go for knowledge, knowledge fuels confidence. Despite what the enemy did to Job, he still said, “For I know that my redeemer livery…” Job 19:25. His confidence was in the fact that, God is alive and would redeem him.

PRAYER:
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, I declare I will not lose my confidence anymore
