BIBLE READING: MORNING: PSALMS 142,143,144, EVENING: 1 CORINTHIANS 10:14-33.
TOPIC : NOT DEFEATED.
TEXT : “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14.
Believers are not defeated in battle; their destined end is victory. The victory is already decided in Christ Jesus. So no matter the position you are presently in, even if you back is on the ground, you are not defeated. If you can rise up telling yourself the truth of your position in Christ Jesus, you will come out of that situation more than a conqueror just like Apostle Paul declared emphatically in Romans 8:27 ” Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”
Micah 7:8 says, “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.” Therefore, child of God, arise and excel in that exam. Sit down and study, you are at an advantage because “The memory of the just is blessed.” (Proverbs 10:7). You have the mind of Christ(1 Cor. 2:16) with God’s Holy Spirit living inside of you (1 Cor. 6:19) to make you excel. In that business, you are to be the pacesetters for others to follow. You are the head and not the tail(Deuteronomy. 28:13); whatever you do ought to prosper(Psa. 1:3), so arise and take charge and that business will rise again.
Child of God, to be a victor indeed, be full of God’s word, the right words for every situation of life and declare them always irrespective of what you see. In the place of prayer, arm yourself with the word. Your victory is very sure.
PRAYER
My Father, my Maker, Lion of Judah, as I pray now, I declare my victory in every aspect of life.
