RHEMA FOR LIVING, OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE [ 22nd October] -LIVING ABOVE MISTAKE 2.

RHEMA FOR LIVING, OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S ORACLE.
THE RESTORATION APOSTLE.
PROFESSOR JOHNSON SULEMAN.
TODAY TUESDAY 22ND, OCT. 2019.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Morn: Jer. 7, 8; Even: 1 Tim. 2.
TOPIC: LIVING ABOVE MISTAKE 2.
TEXT: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their fresh.” Proverbs 4 :20 – 22.
The senses of touch, smell, sight, hearing and taste are general referred to as the gateway to the heart.
The heart of every man or woman is the control center of his or her life and destiny. No wonder scripture admonishes: “Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” Proverbs 4 :24 – 27.
If you will live a life free of regret, a life that will not be an investment of tears and sorrows to your offspring, you must be careful what you hear and about what you see.
Humanity is where it is today because the first man and woman, Adam and Eve opened their ears to wrong words and their eyes to wrong scenes. The first query ever that man received from God was “Who told thee that thou wast naked?” Genesis 3 :11.
Child of God, what voices are you listening to? What scenes have taken your attention of late? God has given us the Holy Spirit to take control of what we see, what we hear and of all outlets of our emotional impulses.
Years ago, I prayed a prayer, “Lord, do not allow my emotions to have control over me, rather, let your words have firm grip over my life.”
I pray for you today, no matter what you see or think or feel, the Holy Spirit will take absolute control of your life. Your destiny shall not be left at the mercy of the devil.
PRAYER:
My Father, my Father, as I pray, I receive fresh grace to overcome my emotions by fire in the name of Jesus.
