Orange, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources to help churches engage kids, partner with parents, and equip volunteers, is thrilled to announce its latest in-person experience, Parent Cue Live.
Featuring a variety of spiritual, developmental, and parenting experts, this unique gathering is an opportunity for parents to learn and laugh together, and leave understanding why it’s so important to partner with churches.
Orange believes that two, combined influences make a greater impact than just two influences, and brings together the heart of the family (red) with the light of the Church (yellow). It designed Parent Cue Live to give parents a better reason to partner with churches as well as to learn how to be more intentional at home. And during this two-hour event, parents will hear what their kids need most at this phase of life, ways to engage with them more deeply, and how a faith community can support them along the way.
Orange has spent over a decade working with research organizations like Fuller Youth Institute, Barna, and the Phase Project to discover what makes each phase of a child’s life unique. They’ve done the research to help families learn how to communicate Biblical truths at each phase of a child’s life while recognizing and nurturing their emotional, physical, mental, and social needs. Their goal is to provide parents and churches with the tools needed to instill in a generation faith that will last forever.
Not only will parents experience new information and insights into their child, they’ll have fun doing it. Fun is a cornerstone of Orange’s philosophy, so this event will be less like a seminar and more like a conversation with friends. As an added bonus, moms, dads, grandparents, and guardians will be able to meet others like them, reinforcing the fact that no one should parent alone.
Parent Cue Live coincides with Orange Tour, a one day training event for church leaders, volunteers, and parents. Confirmed speakers will include: Reggie Joiner, Kristen Ivy, Toni Collier, Kara Powell, Carlos Whittaker, Deborah Tillman, and Jon Acuff.
