Our Focal Scripture speaks of Rachael weeping for her children, because they were dead. Herod had ordered the killing of children who were two years and below. So there would have been parents who had received their bundles of joy, but had same bundles of joy taken away from them. People who had celebrated, had their celebrations turn to mourning. People who had received good news, had their good news turn to bad news.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your good news will not change to bad news. Your celebration will not end in pain and shame. Your bundle of joy will not be taken away from you. The same reason why men have celebrated with you and congratulated you, will not turn around and become a snare and a thing of shame to you. The same things you have celebrated will not turn around and lead to mourning and bitter tears.
Because of Herod, people began to mourn for the same things they had celebrated. Because of Herod, good news turned to bad news. Because of Herod, laughter was exchanged with bitter tears. Because of Herod, undeserved pain was inflicted on people who didn’t plan for it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any Herod that is plotting to exchange your good news with bad news, I decree, let fire answer. Let the judgement of God locate and destroy every Herod that wants you to mourn.
Whatsoever God has already given you to possess, is yours to possess, and no demon of hell will take it away from you. Whatsoever results that God has put in your hands, will not turn around and become a snare to your destiny. The blessings of the Lord upon your life will not suddenly become a subject of sorrow. Whatever the Lord has given you to put a smile on your face will not be destroyed by the enemy.
As surely as the Lord lives, every good thing that God has brought your way shall be preserved, nothing missing and nothing broken.
