LEADERSHIP AND PRAYER

Generally speaking, leadership means taking the lead, being in the front, living as an example, serving as a reference.
For a spiritual leader, prayer is non-negotiable so he can connect with God to lead His people right.
By implication a true spiritual leader does not delegate prayer.
Jesus never delegated prayer, He led his disciples in prayer. Luke 9:28-35; Luke 22:39-46.
All great leaders are praying leaders because in prayer, they obtain grace to lead – Heb. 4:16
Grace and strength to lead is derived at the prayer altar.
Effectuality in leadership is obtained at prayer moments.
The apostles succeeded in the assignment by engagement at the prayer altar. Acts 1:14; 2:1-4; 3:1; 4:23-43; 5:12-14; 6:4.
