The highly anticipated yearly prophetic declarations from the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye took an unexpected turn to the surprise of many and the amusement of some.
Having acknowledged that anything he says will be twisted by politicians especially because Nigeria is in an election year, the preacher decided to give the prophecies in what he called “Codes”.
For the International Scene, he gave Joel 2: 28-32.
For Nigeria, he gave Lamentations 3:22-23. He also added that those praying for God to be merciful over the nation should continue praying as they are on the right track.
For Individuals, he gave Isaiah 3:10 -11.
For the Redeemed Christian Church of God, he gave Psalm 91.
He concluded by saying “So you can’t say ‘Adeboye said’. You can only say ‘It is written’. Glory be to God!”
