Evangelist Andrew Palau and Local Pastors Team up to Launch CityFest East Texas

Hundreds of church and nonprofit leaders are collaborating in an historic effort to love and serve Tyler, Texas and the surrounding region in the name of Jesus as part of CityFest East Texas. This initiative, organized by dozens of local churches and supported by the Luis Palau Association, will work to unify hundreds of pastors and ministry leaders, along with leaders from the civic, marketplace, and education sectors.

Join with special guest global evangelist Andrew Palau and leaders all over East Texas on October 11 to hear about the vision of this campaign and learn how you can play a role in this effort to impact the lives of thousands of individuals in East Texas and beyond. The launch event will be at Harvey Convention Center, 2000 West Front Street at 8 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served. Please RSVP to www.palaufestivals.org/easttexas.

Interest and momentum continues to grow among 100+ churches and marketplace leaders. The vision of CityFest East Texas is to encourage greater collaboration among civic, corporate, and church leaders, setting aside differences to better serve the city in a number of focus areas – such as homelessness, education, and foster care – and proclaim the Gospel on a grand scale.

CityFest will also include a months-long, region-wide effort to help churches saturate their neighborhoods with the Good News of Jesus Christ through regional outreaches and evangelistic gatherings. It will culminate in one large, multicultural festival on October 5-6, 2019 featuring top recording artists, world-class action sports demonstrations, activities for people of all ages, and a message of hope from Andrew Palau.
