It is important to observe that the star which heralded the birth of Jesus kept moving until it came to the place where Jesus was. It was not a static star. It was a moving star. It was a star that made movements. A star that started shining in the east kept moving until it came and stood over the house where Jesus was. It was a star that moved and moved again. It was a star that refused to be static. It was a star that simply kept moving.
Friend, until the day that Jesus comes, and until the day that you meet with Jesus, keep moving and keep growing. Be a moving star. Be that star that does not remain on the same level. Be that star that always shows up as an improvement of itself. Be that great one whose greatness in on the increase. Be that star that is not content with yesterday’s excellence. Be that star that keeps pushing forward and keeps getting better.
Decline sets in whenever your star becomes static. Decline sets in whenever your best yesterday remains your best today, with no plan to have a better best tomorrow. Decline sets in when nothing new is emerging from your life. Decline sets in when you are no longer growing and improving. Decline sets in when you are no longer moving. Decline sets in when you choose to be static when you should be on the move.
May your generation never judge your best as being in the past. May your generation never find you static in the same places and levels you ought to have outgrown. No matter how you shine, please keep moving. No matter your past results, keep moving. Look away from whatever you already attained and seek new attainments and achievements. Refuse to be found in the same levels where you were seen in your yesterday.
Today, I pray for you: may the Lord give you the inner strength to keep moving. May your best be unfolded again and again. May your destiny remain on the move. Remember, if you cease to move, others will overtake you.
