Dear Reader,
Welcome to this great month of October. I pray that God will keep ordering your steps and make every crooked path straight for you in Jesus’ name! This month, we shall be exploring Becoming a Leader.
Who is a leader? A leader is someone who coaches, guides and inspires others. They motivate teams through challenging times, foster a collaborative culture and lead by example. Therefore, a teenager who is a child of God is ordained to be at the top and redeemed to reign on the earth and be a leader everywhere you find yourself. It is important to note that the seed of leadership was in you from the beginning. Also, Jesus died to receive authority on your behalf so you can reign as king on the earth. The Word says: And hast made us unto our God kings and priest: and we shall reign on the earth (Revelation 5:10).
However, for you to reign as a king and be a leader, you need to take positive steps to actualise it. The Bible says: And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them (Deuteronomy 28:13). So, it is certain that the genes of leadership is in you.
To become a leader, you must:
Know Who you are in Christ: Your worth can only be defined in Christ. The Word says: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring (Acts 17:28). That is why if you are not born again, whatever you think you are right now is just a shadow compared to what God has prepared for you. You are worth far more than that. Therefore, you must study the Word of God diligently because it is the only way to know who you truly are in Christ Jesus. The Word says: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
However, to keep functioning as a leader, you need the help of the Holy spirit. To access the help of the Holy Spirit, you need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. So, if you are not born-again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born-again.
