Popular Nigerian comedian, White Olasunkanmi Barry, aka Son Of The Prophet has been selected as an ambassador for the world’s largest global Entrepreneurship Festival, after announcing he would no longer mimic Bishop David Oyedepo.
In a heartfelt video shared via his Instagram page, White Barry revealed his decision to step down from mimicking his father, the founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo.
“Today marks the end of an incredible 8-year journey, one filled with passion, purpose, and a deep sense of calling. I’ve had the privilege of sharing joy, laughter, and inspiration through the gift of mimicking Bishop David Oyedepo, a man I hold in the highest regard. As I step into a new chapter, I do so with gratitude for every moment, every message, and every person who supported this journey.

The name ‘Son of the Prophet’ remains, not just as a reminder of where we’ve been, but as a beacon of where God is leading us next. “From today henceforth I will no longer be mimicking BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO.”
However, sharing photos of his appointment as an ambassador, he said;
