YOUNG MINISTERS & DISHONOUR

Its no doubt that we are in knowledge generation, its actually a revolution where knowledge is increasing daily, a privileged generation one would say, but this also comes with great danger for the young minister. The principles and values that birth our generals in the faith seems to be on a decline, honour and respect is fading rapidly.

We grew up knowing Prophets are highly esteemed people because of the spiritual office they hold, the older they get, the more the honor we accord them for faithful service before the Lord, the holy scripture teaches us of great men like David who still respected his master (King Saul) even though he was not behaving in accordance to his office, he still honored him as the anointed of the lord despite knowing he is the one to replace him, David had the heart of the people, the people hailed him yet he honored Saul from his heart till the day of his death

This was the culture imbibed by the great men of faith, respect, honour, humility to those who had gone ahead of them, the reverse seems to be the case today, thank God for social media, young emerging ministers come to post terrible stuffs of men of God who have paid their dues, yes! they may have their point, but , David also had his point, he should have run his sword through his master at the glorious opportunities presented to him, but he chose to honour the anointing and that singular action made him a man of honor all the days of his life.

Young Ministers seem to have the anointing, they gave the charisma and all that but how long will they be on the stage? The virtues that takes up is practically missing because it is not by power, might nor eloquence but by the spirit of grace, grace and grace alone. Dishonor is from the devil, its ultimate ambition is to cut short your impact and de-voice you to your generation. Let’s be warned!!!
