*The moment you start despising your mentor, you disconnect from the virtues that has helped you up, then you must come down
You don’t only need a ladder to go up, you need a ladder to stay up. If you climb by ladder and push away the ladder, what happens ? You just come down.
There are some fellows like that, they climb on some ladders, then they push the ladder off, so they start coming down.
I began climbing on the ladder of Kenneth E. Hagin since 1976, I started climbing on Kenneth copeland’s ladder since 1977 and I am still celebrating this ladder till today including those who has passed.
It was the ladder of T.L Osborn I climbed to learn how to hear from God and I celebrated him till he passed on in 2013 , I am still celebrating him till today. You don’t only need a ladder to go up, you need a ladder to stay there.
It is not theoretical, mentorship is lifelong, the moment you start despising your mentor, you disconnect from the virtues that has helped you up, then you must come down.
Before you call somebody your mentor, be persuaded that that man, that woman has what you need and that you remain subjective to his God given principles for life, that way you don’t only go up, you stay up.
I have never known a downward trend because the forces that were used to help me up are still highly esteemed and will be highly esteemed until life is over, this is so important for young people, it will help you to package your life in a definite manner and you know where you belong.
