WHY YOU MUST NOT MISS FELLOWSHIP – PASTOR DAVID JNR.

*Before the enemy can still your spiritual life, he will block your access to spiritual food.

 

It is common knowledge that no one ever outgrows eating no matter how old, eating is a permanent responsibility if living is supposed to be your expectation.

There is no way to live without eating and one of the functions of the fellowship is to give us opportunity to feed on the word of God, in the book of Jeremiah, it says, thy word have I found and I did eat them and those words became the joy and rejoicing of my heart.

The scripture may suggest that everyone should go and find the word on their own but that is not what the God is saying there, in the book of Malachi 3:16, the bible says , they that feared the lord spake often one to another, the lord hearken and  heard it  and a book of remembrance was opened to them.

They that feared the Lord spake often to one another, they were continuously charging  one another.

The bible also explains in the book of Hebrews 3:13, the bible is more explicit, exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

So there is a responsibility placed upon us as believers to become channels through which  we continuously charge and build up one another and the platform for that is the fellowship.

It is in the fellowship where we gather together and we have the opportunity to exchange based on the word of God. It is where we exhort one another and are fortified against the deceitfulness of sin.

We live in a crooked and perverse world, if we desire to live as lights, we must keep company with light and that is what occurs when we gather together in fellowship and as we keep eating we keep growing.

Eating is a continuous responsibility if living is a continuous expectation, that is why in the natural if your health is going to be attacked, one of the things  that will be first withdrawn is your appetite , what it means is that, the disease wants to take life and before it can take life, it will first take food, before the enemy can still your spiritual life, he will block your access to spiritual food.

That is why you must become committed, refuse to allow yourself become slack in the pursuit of the word of God, lets God’s word continue to be for you food, lets God word continue to be for you vital nourishment.
