Towards Maximizing Our Glorious Destiny in Christ (Part 4A) | 23rd June, 2024

Introduction:

The things we doubt are the things we are yet to see. You can’t see and still doubt. The destiny of every believer is packaged in the book (the word of God). You can’t see your picture from the scriptures and doubt it!

God’s word is likened to a mirror.

“For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.”

“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:24 – 25.

Destiny is a product of discovery. God’s Word is a divine mirror where you can locate God’s picture of your life and future. God’s vision for you is contained in the Word. When you study the Word, you see yourself from God’s perspective.

Destiny is a function of discovery!

You can’t see with my eyes, you need your eyes to see. We have a most elastic destiny in Christ

“And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:” Isaiah 29:11.

“And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:” Hebrews 10:11.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

God’s plan for you and me is in the book, you need meekness to find it yourself in His Book. Without meekness, your blessing is meaningless and your destiny is limited. You have an enviable destiny in Christ, you cannot live a pathetic life. You can’t see your royalty heritage in Christ and be beggarly.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”  Revelation 5:9 -10.

We have a royal destiny in Christ and this royalty has its roots in the Abrahamic covenant. If you are of Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed. You have an enviable destiny in Christ stop living a pitiable life. Everything about a believer is as written in the book.

“And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.” Genesis 16:4 – 6.

There is no disadvantaged nation or race in the covenant!

Proofs of being Born Again

Our destiny opens up when we are born again

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” 2 Corinthians 13:5. 

Fruit of the spirit are the proofs of redemption, among the blessedness of redemption is faith. Faith is the life wire of redemption. When you are saved, you receive a measure of the believer’s faith.

1. Faith   

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” Galatians 5:22.

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Matthew 7:20.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3.

 2. Righteousness imparted as a gift.

 “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”  Romans 5:17.

 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”  Romans 6:4.

The gift of Righteousness empowers believers to right living. Right standing must result in the right living for a believer and right living validates the gift of righteousness.

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,”  1 Corinthians 6:9.

“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.”  1 John 3:7.

You’re redeemed to live a dignified life!

“For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?” Romans 3:3.

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” Ephesians 5:18.

Picture of Your Future from the Scriptures

1. You have a royal destiny in Christ regardless of your race or nationality.

To Exercise Your Royal Destiny, you must:

a. Be born again

b. Walk in the fear of God

c. Possess a meek spirit.

2. You have a super healthy destiny in Christ.

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”  Matthew 8:17.

“Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.”  Isaiah 54:4.

The church is redeemed as an army of men and women of exploits and you need strength to command and sustain exploits. You have been redeemed to live a sickness-free life. We have a super healthy destiny in Christ. We’re redeemed to live a sickness and pain-free life.

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”  1 Corinthians 6:20.

The church is redeemed as a man and woman of exploits and it takes strength to command exploits.

 You have an ordained strength inside you and a super healthy destiny in Christ.

Change of levels is in doing what God reveals, not in documenting or preaching what He reveals. When God speaks, only those who dive into it make the most of it. Only those with prompt responses make the most of their next levels. Your level won’t stop changing if you don’t stop serving.

When any of your redemptive rights is under siege make it a project to settle down with God with anointed books and prayers.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:13.

Keys to Actualizing Your Next-Level Heritage in Christ

1. Recognize that every child of God has a next-level destiny in Christ.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Romans 5:1.

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”  Romans 8:29.

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18.

2. ⁠Possess a next-level mentality.

“And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.”  Exodus 7:1.

3. Walk in the obedience of faith. It is the trigger for your next level.

“So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”

“And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.”

“And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.”

“And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.”

“And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.”   Genesis 12:4 – 8.

“And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.” Genesis 22:2.

“By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,”

“Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:”

“Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.”   Hebrews 11:17 – 19.

4. Access light from the Scriptures.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  Isaiah 60:1.

5. Walk in the light of God’s demands.  

Walking by the truth is key to realizing our next level. Your next level is doing what he says

You can’t stumble on financial prosperity, it is entrusted. Change of level is doing what he reveals.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  Joshua 1:8.

6. Give a timely response to provoke God’s intervention.

A timely response is required to provoke a testimony. When God speaks only those who dive into it make most of their next level. Before God starts speaking to you directly he starts speaking to you through his word. Hence, prompt response empowers our access to the next level.

“And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.”  Genesis 17:23.

7. Serving God faithfully.

Serving God faithfully with results to show is a covenant platform for our change of level. Our promotion continues as long as we keep serving God faithfully.

Kingdom service is what guarantees our promotion!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  Matthew 6:33.

Your destiny opens up today!

The Lord will turn your adventure into a flight!

Although you may have been forsaken, God will make of you an eternal excellency!

From among us nations are beginning to rise!

Your glorious destiny will be a testimony!

Your days of shame and reproach are finally over!

Today marks the end of stagnation in your life!

No setback in your spiritual walk anymore!

Grace to keep going, receive it now!

Your next-level testimonies start this week!

Men and women like nations start rising from here!

Nothing will stop your rising!

Nothing will block your way forward!
