Tim Godfrey : When I Came To Lagos, I Slept Under Oshodi Bridge

Every Glory has a story to tell, Tim Godfrey shared his testimony in a very emotional fashion of his past in the fearless concert held @ house on the Rock Church, Lekki , Lagos.  The International Music Minister shared how he got inspiration for the song Nara.  Obviously , the road to success for Tim Godfrey hasn’t been a smooth one after all, born into a poor family, Tim Godfrey said his parents had no money for any kind of education, growing up for him was very tough because he had no shoes to wear to school, trekking to school with bare legs was a normal thing to him.

According to the multiple award winning Gospel artiste, things got so bad that he became a conductor in the streets of Kaduna while his Dad was the Driver. The Inspiration behind the song is counting God’s blessings over the years, he explained to the congregation his experience in Lagos, “When I came to Lagos, I Slept Under Oshodi Bridge” , he then admonished those passing through any condition even worse than what he’s been through to hold on , it will be a testimony tomorrow.
