The Church Must Vote !

A Team of young Christians have come out to sensitize the Churches in Nigeria on the need for the Church to Vote in the coming 2019 Elections .

The Founder of the movement Ikechukwu Nmor who spoke on behalf of the team at the Living Faith Church Headquarters during the church’s Youth Alive Convention explained graphically the role the Church can play to ensure her candidate wins the 2019 presidential elections. According to him Nigeria has a population of about 180 million people and half of them are Christians, but the problem has always been that Christians don’t vote, they don’t participate in the electoral process.

Majority of believers either don’t have a permanent voters card (PVC) or are in different locations from their registration centre, citing an example of the Victory of Donald Trump over Hilary Clinton in 2016, 92,% of the Church supported Donald Trump and against all odds, he won the Election.

So far ,some Pastors have endorsed the Church must vote movement, like Bishop Oyedepo, Rev. Joshua Talena, Apst. Johnson Suleiman , and others.

Thank God for this revelation in time as this… so!… in time. When the righteous run into hiding, what then shall the unbeliever do? If all we do is to wait to be led by an unbeliever, then Nigeria is finished. The unbeliever rules with the kind of abilities he has and understand ( wickedness)…but when the righteous rules, of course the people rejoices, because he/she exhibit the abilities in the inside as well… I have connected with this movement on Facebook. But want to know if you have any office in Jos Plateau state and watzap group page.

Very impressive sensitization. However to stick to politics with principles, there is the need to understand the morals behind the sensitisation. It is not enough to be excited to get registered.

I am a pastor and I am glad with what you are doing. However another problem why real genuine Christians don’t vote is lack of credible righteous candidate. Who will be the flag bearer. We also need genuine Christians who will uphold righteousness to come out for public position.
