Satan is the number 1 resistance to soul winning, 2nd thess. 2:18- Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
Every turning of a soul from darkness to light is the turning of that soul from Satan to God, Matt 16:18, the bible says I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The building of the church is against the gates of the Devil.
We are taught by the scriptures to give the devil no place, we engage the force of faith to stop every satanic manipulation.
As we go for soul winning, we know there is a battle drawn and we need the force of faith to overcome.
Secondly we must engage the power of the Holy Ghost, we must be drunk in the Holy spirit to see the power of God manifest. Soul winning is a clash of powers and the superior power is the power of the Holy Spirit.
We need the power of the spirit to become effective witnesses.
