TOPIC: What Do You See? (Seeds Of Destiny 3 October 2023)

SCRIPTURE: And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. Genesis 13:14-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you do not see coming will never come.

MESSAGE:

Dodie Osteen, the mother of Joel Osteen had metastatic adenocarcinoma of the liver in the year, 1983. She was given six weeks to live.

Giants of faith like Oral Roberts, Kenneth Hagin and others prayed for her, but the sickness persisted. The cancer was ravaging her body.

Then she decided to stand on God’s Word. She put the pictures of her youthful and healthy self, some of them in her wedding gown, on the wall, on the fridge, and wherever her eyes could always see them. She said to herself, “This is me” pointing at those pictures. She turned to her sick body and said, “This is not me”. She said, “I cannot have cancer; this is me in those pictures. This is how I am looking. This is how I will look”. She kept on looking at those pictures and declaring until the six weeks she was given to live passed, but she did not pass.

One year, two years, three years, forty years have come and passed, yet those six weeks have not come because vision is the seed of the reality. Vision is key to healthy living.

When God wanted to change Abraham’s mind from a barren man to a fruitful man, he brought him out, and said to him, “I want to change your mentality by changing your picture; look at the stars in the sky, look at the sand of the seashore; so, shall your offspring be” (Genesis 15:5 paraphrased).

Beloved, what you want God to do in your life, how does it look like? See the pictures of those expectations.

You know, picture, they say, is worth a thousand words.

What do you see? What you do not see coming will never come. What you do not perceive, you will never possess. What is not a reality inside of you can never become a reality in your life.

REMEMBER THIS: What you do not see coming will never come.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Concerning your future, what do you see? Write them down.
2. Locate scriptures that mirror your expectations, look out for instructions to obey to see their manifestation, and begin to picture their fulfilment.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to stay focused on Your Plan and Purpose for me. I see my lines falling in pleasant places, and I have a goodly heritage, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
