TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psa 16 – 18

TOPIC: THE SIMPLICITY OF THE GOSPEL

TEXT: “But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.” 2 Kings 5 :11

In the scenario of our text, Naaman, the captain of the host of the king of Syria was a great man with his master and very honorable but he was a leper who through the help of his little maid, a captive from Israel, came to Elisha for healing.

When he got to the door of the house of Elisha with his horses and with his chariots, Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.” Instead of rejoicing that he has gotten a solution to his leprosy, he was angry because he had a preconceived method of how he would be prayed for and almost missed his healing.

Child of God, release yourself unto God. Be meek and allow Him perfect His deeds in your life.
All you need from the Lord is an instruction and not how dramatic the you expect the instruction to be. Your ability to obey His demands is what brings about the desired result. Thank God for servants of Naaman who were sincere and concerned for their master’s healing and convinced him to yield to the instruction of Elisha and he did and he eventually came out whole, with his flesh like that of a child…God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. 1 Corinthians 1 :27.

I pray for you, your life shall hnot be complicated.

My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, may I not miss my testimony due to complications. In Jesus Name….
