TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matt 16 – 19.

TOPIC: YOU CAN STAND OUT.

TEXT: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” Matthew 5 :16.

Standing out in life is not a function of head knowledge, it is a product of revelation light.
No man can stand out or be distinct except he is a man of light.
Light is what makes a man unique, special, outstanding and different from his contemporaries

Overtime, resolutions made by men have collapsed because they were not made on the premise of light.
God at creation, could do nothing until He first, had light.
He declared, “Let there be light” and light came into being.

I speak over your life now – “LET THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD INVADE ANY FORM OF DARKNESS IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW!

“LET THERE BE LIGHT”

Light is the revelation of the truth. It refers to an understanding of the word. It is the knowledge of the truth. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8 :32).

In other words, when you personally have an understanding of the truth, you would reign over whatever darkness that had previously held you bound.
Due to the relevance of light, Apostle Paul prayed for the saints at Ephesus “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know…” (Ephesians 1 :17 – 18).

Until you know, you cannot stand out as the light of the world, nor reign as the salt of the earth. The Bible says, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalms 119 :130).

If only you can settle down with the Word of God, the source of light, you will stand out in every aspect of your life.

My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, let the passion to settle down with the Word rest on me by fire.
