TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psa 31 – 33.

TOPIC: FORGIVE CONTINUALLY.

TEXT: “Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.” Luke 17 :3 – 4.

The believer’s life should be full of forgiveness, because there is grace to forgive and it is by the Spirit at work in us.
No matter what anyone has done against you, please forgive wholeheartedly and move on to the next phase of life.
To still hold on to that offense in your life is to remain there both spiritually and physically. God cannot do anything for anyone that holds bitterness in his heart.

The Bible says, “For if ur forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6 :14 – 15. Therefore you do yourself more harm when you refuse to forgive others.

Learn to operate in advance forgiveness. You can operate in the realm of advance forgiveness, Such that even before the offense, you have already forgiven.
It is when someone expects perfection from a fellow man that he feels so much pain when offended. But when you have the understanding that humans are prone to offending one another, you give allowance in your heart to guard against being disappointed. Allow issues to fizzle out by itself and focus on your being at peace with God and yourself.

I pray for you, the power to forgive continually, possess you by fire..

               PRAYER.

My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, the power to forgive, possess me by fire.
