TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Morn: Habakuk : Even: Rev. 14.
TOPIC: KNOW.
TEXT: “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Psalms 9 :10.
Child of God, the place of knowing cannot be compromised if you will run this Christian race victoriously to the end What keeps you going when no one is there with you is what you know.
Your personal knowledge of God will make you trust in Him. The Psalmist says, “They that know thy name…” Do you know his name?
Your revelation of Him as the provider, will make you trust Him to provide for you.
Your knowledge of Him as the protector, will make you know always that you are defended.
In Genesis 22, when Abraham stretched forth his hands and was about to slay his son, Isaac the angel of the Lord called out to him and stopped him and when he lifted up his eyes and looked, behold behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns and he took it and sacrificed it in place of his son Isaac.
Right there he called the name of that place ‘Jehovah Jireh’ as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD, it shall be seen.
The ram was already provided, but God made him go through the test to prove him.
When faced with situations of such, Abraham knows God will always provide.
In fact, He has already provided; all He needed to do is to open His eyes in the midst of that challenge to see what God has provided.
In the same vein child of God, when you know God in any aspect of life, you will put your trust in Him. Therefore, seek to know Him.

My Father, my Father, as I begin to pray, Lord, reveal Yourself to me, I want to know You more and more in Jesus name.
