TOPIC: VISION IS KEY.
TEXT: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young shall see visions.” Joel 2:28.
One of the reasons why God has decided to pour out His spirit on all flesh is for the young men to see visions. Youthful age is a productive age and a period of decision making in any man’s life. Vision is the energy of progress and a determinant of destiny, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” (Proverbs 29:18). Vision is no doubt, one of the most powerful forces available to young men. It gives meaning to life, keeps us alive and conditions our life lives. True vision or revelation is not based on what a person sees with his physical eyes alone, but on the images seen with the inward eyes of the mind. A man of vision sees what God has planned for him before its fulfilment.
However, when you begin to act your vision, it will stir up both those who want to help you and those who want to hinder you.
Joseph became great in life because he pursued his vision (Genesis 39:8-9). A man with no vision is at best a living corpse. He desires nothing and achieves nothing. Is your life directed by a clear vision? What is the source of your vision? The Holy Spirit knows what is best for your future, Your family. Your church and your country. He wants to reveal what is in the mind of God to you if only He can get your attention.
PRAYER:
Lord, You have my attention, please show me visions of Your purpose for my life.
