BIBLE READING: EZRA 5-7.
TOPIC: BE GRATEFUL .
TEXT: “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan”. Luke 17:15-16.
A lot of believers are where they are today, stagnated or going round in circles without any progressive movement because instead of being grateful for where they are, they murmur and complain. Then they suffer the effects of complainers and murmured, by being held bound by the destroyer.
When you are grateful to God for all He has done for you and for all He ever intends to do for you, God Himself is committed over your life and affairs. He goes into action in doing much more for you because He knows you will always return back to express your gratitude, just like the leper who was the only one among ten of them that came back to appreciate Jesus for healing them. (Luke 17:15-16).
When you are grateful, God perfects that which you are grateful for making it whole. Jesus said to the leper that returned to appreciate God “Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole” Luke 17:19.
I pray for you today, you will not be destroyed by the destroyer through complaining and ingratitude.

My Father, my father, as I begin to pray, the power to be grateful at all times rest on me by fire.
