TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Morn: Job 38, 39, Even: Acts 15 – 21.
TOPIC: PROTECT THE INTANGIBLE 2.
TEXT: “And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing… he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?”
Genesis 27 :35 – 36.
Any pleasure you seek and it is offered to you outside the will of God has something divine that it wants to take from you.
The devil is not a fool, when he engages in business, he wants profit.
So if he lures you out of God with peanuts to quench your immediate thirst, he disconnects you from your birthright which automatically becomes his. Life is an exchange; do not ignorantly exchange the substance of your destiny for chaff such as Esau did because of a temporary State of hunger.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2 :3; “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” That you are a Christian does not mean everything will be rosy. You will not be deceived.
You must undergo some circumstances that will try your faith and when you come out of them as destined by God, you become better, brighter and stronger.
But when you opt out for satanic alternatives, you lose the intangible, which finally results in tangible losses. The Bible says, “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.”
Ecclesiastes 10 :8
When you break the edge of protection around you by deviating from the counsel of God, you open up yourself for satanic attack.
The will of God was for Naomi and her family to dwell in Bethlehem of Judah the house of bread, but a temporary scarcity of bread made her family and her to relocate to Moab an enemy territory. (Ruth 1) The enemy lured them out with a token but there she lost her husband and her two sons.
Lion of Judah, whatever is on assignment to make me lose my portion in Christ, as I begin to pray, I terminate your assignment in Jesus name
