TOPIC : BE READY TO FIGHT 3
TEXT: “And they found Adoni-bezek in Bezek: and they fought against him…… But Adoni-bezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, cut off his thumbs and his great toes. And Adoni-bezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath required me.” Judges 1:5-7.
To come out of every ugly situation of life, you must first identify the cause of the Problem so you can handle it from the root. What you can’t identify, you can’t rectify. I am going to show three reasons why Adonibezek did what he did to the seventy kings which represents the glorious destinies of men.
1. He cut off their thumbs to make them unable to handle anything in life. A man without a thumb cannot handle anything firmly. Many had gotten into marital relationships but because they had no thumb, they lost it. Many handle money but can’t explain how they spent it. But the Bible says, “Whatsoever he doeth shall proper.” Psalms 1:3. If you can fight, you can change it.
2. He cut off their toes to slow their speed. Many believers have prolonged suffering. They are labouring under a curse. What is taking others five months, is taking them five years, but their original destiny is that of speed. Scripture says, “The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.” Joel 2:4. When your speed is affected, delay becomes the order of your life. So many people are suffering in life because of affected speed.
3. The third reason Adonibezek cut off their thumbs and toes was to make them objects of mockery. But, God is not a mocker of men but a maker of men. So arise and stop Adonibezek with prayers. In every battle, there must be casualty.

My Father, my Father, Lion of Judah(3x), as I begin to pray, every Adonibezek out to stop me, I stop you permanently by fire.
