RHEMA FOR LIVING, OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL – DARK MOMENTS BY APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN.

RHEMA FOR LIVING, OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S ORACLE.
THE RESTORATION APOSTLE PROFESSOR JOHNSON SULEMAN.
TODAY THURSDAY 19th, DEC 2019.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Morn. Micah 1, 2, 3: Even: Rev 10.
TOPIC: DARK MOMENTS.
TEXT: “And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.” Mark 15 :33.
Sometimes, dark moments occur in life when it seems as if Satan and his agents have become victorious over the children of light.
Darkness seems to overshadow light, workers of iniquity and evil seem to triumph (Luke 22 :53).
GOD seems very far away or to have abandoned His children to the powers of darkness.
This was the experience of JESUS in today’s passage.
Evil men, mockers, robbers and agents of darkness, laid hands on the son of GOD.
GOD turned His eyes away from Him, such that He felt forsaken by His Father. He was seemingly at the mercy of evil men.
“Darkness came over the whole land” for three hours and JESUS cried “Eli Eli, lama sabachthani” (Mark 15 : 33 – 34)
Are there experiences you are passing through such that you are wondering why GOD allowed enemies to be having the upper hand?
Things have become so tough that you feel forsaken by both GOD and your friends.
Hold on, for that prolonged hour of darkness shall surely become a testimony of GOD’S power.
Note that as JESUS breathed His last, “the curtain of the temple torn into two, from top to bottom; giving us open access into GOD’S very presence.
Even your dark moment is for an enduring testimony.
PRAYER:
My Father, my Father, as I begin to pray, turn my dark moments to testimony in JESUS name.
