RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM, DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S ORACLE APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN.
THURSDAY, 23RD APRIL 2020.
BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 4-6.
TOPIC: FOLLOW WITHOUT CONDITIONS.
TEXT: “My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.” Psalms 63:8.
David was a man that follow God not for personal gains, there were no conditions attached to his services for God. Love was the motivator of his following God. Every attempt of Saul failed because he was a lover of God. David genuinely served Saul as his master just as God commanded, he never schemed against Saul to bring him down, every task he fulfilled with all his might, following hard as a servant under his master.
Child of God, God will put you under a grace, under a prophet to exhibit your total obedience of him. Elisha followed hard after conditions, waiting for God to do certain things before you follow him. Rather, let love motivate your worship, let love motivate your service. God say, “All these things which the Gentiles seek after shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33. Listen, God has not called the seed of Jacob to seek him in vain. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrew 11:6.
As you follow hard from henceforth, I see the reward of service manifesting in your life.
PRAYER:
My Father, My Father, as I pray, I receive fresh grace to follow hard after you and serve in your vineyard faithfully.
