We stand unshaken at 63 years of independence from British colonial rule!

Today, as we mark another milestone in our nation’s journey, let us remain strong, united, and unwavering in our resolve to face the myriad of challenges that will certainly come our way.

Over the past six decades and some, we have forged through numerous trials and tribulations. Yet we have not only endured but have also thrived. We have navigated challenging times with resilience, determination, and an unwavering spirit that now defines our national character. We have seen progress, innovation, and the unbreakable bonds that unite us as a diverse nation.

As we celebrate, let us not forget the strength that lies within each of us. Let us honour the rich tapestry of our culture, the diversity of our people, and the numerous achievements that define us as Nigerians, both at home and abroad.
