Nigerian gospel singer, Temitope Monique, aka Monique has opened up on her interest in delving into the movie industry.
According to the singer, she stated that she is opened to exploring that field also. She said she would not mind acting if she gets a decent role to play in movies.
“Acting is something I would like to explore; provided I get decent roles. She said, “During the COVID-19 pandemic, I started doing giveaways on Instagram to support people who were going through a lot and could not put food on their tables. After the pandemic, I went to the market one day and saw very elderly women carrying heavy loads for people for little money. Most of them are widows and are struggling. That was then I started the initiative and registered my NGOs— Molawal Empowerment Foundation, and Monique Gospel Ministry; which cater to widows, the elderly, and indigent people.
“I also registered Molawal Foundation for the girl child, because I see how some girls struggle to survive in society without having to go into immorality.”
