-Simi Reveals Experience As Gospel Artiste & Meeting Husband
Nigerian Afropop star Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, who goes by Simi revealed how Adekunle Gold (AG Baby), who is currently her husband, as always been her long time fan and admirer as a gospel artiste.
The Afropop star in a recent interview with Beat FM, disclosed she released a gospel album in the late 2000. Also adding that she always attend church programmes to minister the songs.
Simi revealed that her husband, Adekunle Gold, had always been crushing on her from a distance and that it was after they met that she came across his several direct messages on Facebook.
“He was a really nice guy,” Simi said. “He was always respectful and he never pressured me into anything. He just let me get to know him and eventually I fell in love with him.”

She added that even after they both got their big breaks, they decided to keep their relationship low-key at the time to ‘avoid the scrutiny of society’.
Simi and Adekunle Gold started dating in 2014 and were married in 2019. They have one child together, Adejare.
“I’m so lucky to have him in my life,” Simi said. “He is my best friend and my soulmate.”

The couple have collaborated on several songs together and have also released a joint album, “For Better, For Worse.”
