[NEWS] LoveWorld Global Staff Community Celebrates 2019 with Thanksgiving to God

Lavish outpouring of praise and appreciation to God witnessed across LoveWorld staff community.
It was time for members of staff of the LoveWorld Nation to count their blessings in this glorious Year of Lights, bringing their offerings of praise to God at the Global Staff Thanksgiving Service, which was held on Friday, December, 13th 2019. It was the celebration of God’s faithfulness, graciousness, loving-kindness and mercy lavishly poured on His people, enabling them to shine as luminaries with records of tremendous feats accomplished for the ministry this year.
Staff members at LoveWorld HQ community in Lagos, Nigeria, were clad in divers colorful native attires, ready to joyfully offer unreserved thanks to the Almighty. The excitement on their faces was undeniable. The service witnessed powerful hymnal renditions of songs of thanksgiving to God, the reading of the scriptures, prayers of thanksgiving and video play-out of inspiring testimonies from different zones, departments, and groups.
The man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, in the playout of an audio message, exhorted staff on the purpose of thanksgiving to God. He pointed out four important ways to offer thanks to God: the prayer of thanksgiving, worship and praise of thanksgiving, testimony of thanksgiving and the offering of thanksgiving. These further amplified the need for God’s children to thank God profusely with the right understanding.
During the thanksgiving segment, different departments and groups, uniformly dressed, danced forward to the altar with their thanksgiving seeds, rejoicing exuberantly for a most successful year as LMAM artistes, Testimony Jaga and Victor Ike, led in songs of praise to God. The atmosphere was filled with God’s palpable glory, fulfilling the scripture, which says “God inhabits the praises of His people.” The service came to a climax when the highly esteemed CEO, Pastor Deola Phillips, prayed for and declared blessings over everyone gathered. With great rejoicing, the service came to a close as congregants sang the LoveWorld Anthem.
The story was not different for Loveorld staff members in various cities and nations of the world. It was all about the celebration of God’s love and faithfulness to His people this year.
