The highly anticipated Jeremy Camp inspired biopic, I Still Believe, debuted as the #1 new release at the box office this past weekend, according to Variety. Despite growing fears and social distancing recommendations regarding COVID-19, the film earned $9.5 million in sales opening week, landing at #2 at the box office overall. The true-life story of Camp and the tragic death of his first-wife Melissa Lynn Henning-Camp is the focus of I Still Believe.
Following the incredible box office success of the Bart Millard inspired film I Can Only Imagine, the Erwin Brothers and Lionsgate teamed up for another faith-based major motion picture release. A star-studded cast signed on for the Lionsgate faith-based film including Shania Twain, Britt Robertson (“Girlboss”), Melissa Roxburgh (“Manifest”) and Nathan Dean Parsons (“Roswell, New Mexico”). “Riverdale” actor KJ Apa plays Jeremy Camp.
