[NEWS] EASTER CELEBRATION IN A LOCKDOWN

This year’s Easter Celebration is unique for many reasons, one of which is its celebration in a lockdown. Two major states in Nigeria, Abuja and Lagos had to celebrate their Easter in a full lockdown, whereas some other states had their lockdown relaxed because of the festivities.

This is one Easter that many never dreamed of, and it will go down into history as a memorial, the fact that the celebration of the core and the anchor of the faith of believers around the world had to be celebrated in their rooms not in the walls of their church, this is gradually becoming a new normal for many Christians all over the world especially Nigeria. While many console themselves with the fact that though the church walls are locked Christ (the essence of the church) is not locked, he has risen as he has said .

Jesus went on a Self isolation in the grave for our sins. He was unduly quarantined even though He tested negative to sin. His Resurrection from His Isolation Centre after three days formed the foundation for our release from the lock down by sin. Anyone who has been infected by the virus of sin can be sanitized and recovered through the vaccine of the Blood of Jesus. He will subsequently live a Victorious Life through the Ventilator of the Holy Spirit.”
