Christ Embassy church in Waru community has built and handed over a maternal and child health clinic Maternal health centre to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT ).
The presiding pastor, Christ Embassy Abuja Ministry Centre, Reverend Tom Amenkhienan, who handed over the clinic, said that Christ Oyakhilome Foundation brought hope and succour to the needy and vulnerable in the community.
The Pastor said that the foundation was committed to providing the pediatrics and maternal healthcare facility for Waru community was borne out of passion for the plight of indigent children.
FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, who received the clinic built at Waru area of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), applauded the gesture of the church.
Dr Aliyu said the FCT administration was also working towards the renovation of 12 Primary Health Care Centres, and hopeful they would be completed within the year.
