Dear Reader,
Welcome to the month of August, where God will be doing a new thing for you and all that pertains to you, in Jesus’ name! Living life with meaning is enthused by some guiding principles. In this edition, I will be exploring the fundamental principles that will make your life colourful, exciting and meaningful. Therefore, the title for this edition is Life with a Meaning.
It is a known fact that every product delivers its best when used according to the manufacturer’s design. In the same vein, you cannot live a meaningful life until you locate the reason for your existence; what you have been created for is the reason for your existence. Even if you were born out of wedlock, you did not just happen or appear on this earth by mistake; you still have to give an account of how you lived your own life. The Bible says: But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace (Galatians 1:15). Paul, the Apostle, lived an outstanding life because he discovered this truth. He located it and lived for it. Therefore, it is your duty to locate it, abide in it and pursue it with all excitement.
Let us examine two avenues for locating the reason for your existence:
Go directly to God, your Manufacturer.One major way to locate the reason for your existence is by enquiry; enquiry leads to discovery (Habakkuk 2:1-3). Ask God, your Manufacturer, He has firsthand information on what you have been separated unto before you ever existed.Look Inwards.Take an inventory of your life and conduct an internal search because there is something within you that will give you a clue to where you belong. Look inward for what productive thing you have the ability to do without stress or imitations. Look for your areas of positive impact on people. One or a combination of two or more of what you have found may be a pointer to your reason for existence.
Locating the reason for your existence can be enquired from God. However, it takes a conscious relationship with Him to enable you go freely to Him for such enquiry. Therefore, to have a conscious relationship with God, you must be born again. If you are not born again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born Again.
Congratulations! You are now born again and a child of God. He loves you and will never leave or forsake you. Read your Bible daily, obey God’s Word and seek Christian fellowship (John 14:21).
