The executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, made a sharp uturn on his decision to keep religious centres locked. He gave the directive for churches to open from June 21.

He modified the lockdown directive on Churches and Mosques, according to him churches are allowed to only have 40% of their capacity in the worship centre. He also explained that no matter the capacity of the church, they cannot have more than 500 persons , mainwhile mosques have been directed to open on June 19.
