Popular pastor, Abel Damina has clarified his statement about God not being a Christian, or limited to a religion.
According to the pastor, he stated he was being misinterpreted and that’s why he has come out to speak.
The clergyman, Abel Damina also stirred up emotions after he said Christians or Christianity is not the only way to make Heaven.
Addressing the public on his misinterpreted statement which was posted by PUNCH, he said;
“PUNCH newspaper wrote a misleading publication about me and it’s online”

“They wrote; Popular pastor, Abel Damina, has explained why God is not a Christian while charging his congregations to stop believing that only the people who believe in Jesus will go to heaven.”
He further went ahead to state that was a criminal offence committed by the well known newspaper, PUNCH.
Instead, he vehemently claimed that God transcends labels such as ‘Christian’. He emphasized that belief in Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, combined with acceptance of the gospel, ensures admittance into heaven for people of all faiths, whether traditionalists or practitioners of other religions.
