Nigeria Gospel Music Minister , Glowreeyah Braimah is set to host an inspiring and life-transforming Instagram Live Chat themed ‘Broken crayons still colour’ on her @glowreeyah Instagram page this Sunday.
Kechi is a 30 year-old Nigerian-born young woman, currently living in Houston,
Texas. She is an MBA student at the University of St. Thomas and self-taught singer.
Kechi found her true voice after her accident- a plane crash that took the lives of 107 out of 109 passengers in Nigeria in 2005. Throughout the difficult journey of burns recovery, Kechi was sustained by her Christian faith, her family and her music. She resumed high school in 2009 and then went on to University of St. Thomas, Houston, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015 with a BA in Economics. She began
to sing and perform at her church, at burn/ trauma fundraisers and galas, and at
family events, sharing what she loved with those she wanted to inspire.
Becoming a finalist on America’s Got Talent 2017 was Kechi’s truest dream realized, and on June 10th 2018, she released her first ever single, ‘Don’t You Dare’ on all
digital music platforms. She has since become a traveling artiste, inspirational
speaker and burn survivor advocate for multiple burn survivor organizations,
including the hospital she herself was treated at- Shriners Burns Hospitals for
Children, Galveston, TX.
In 2019, she became a finalist on the premiere season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions through Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer, and Kechi has now chosen to forge ahead on a path that allows her to explore both business and artistic
opportunities henceforth.
Kechi is also a bullying prevention advocate and has teamed up
with bullying prevention organization, Be Strong Global, as well as Instagram and Teen Vogue.
