Doing Good

Doing good as role models is a reflection of who we are in Christ.

As role models, we have leadership roles to play in our communities, and as Christians, we must do it from the place of love, avoid violence and all forms of hate speech. We must represent Christ properly. 

The higher you are in your leadership role, the more sensitive and committed you must be to the Holy Spirit to guide what you do and say. One wrong statement by someone in a position of influence can wreak havoc. 

As Christians, in our endeavours, we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, we are contending against satanic ideologies.

As role models, we cannot play victims and lament. As you grow in influence we must be sensitive to God. 

Anywhere there is selfishness, greed, and self-centeredness, it’s obvious that satanic ideas prevail there. Like it happened to Judas Iscariot, Satan can possess people through greed.

You must be clear about your identity.

Christ was clear about His identity. He was a problem solver. (John 9:5, NLT). You are a child of God, a problem solver and not a victim of any situation. 

Anywhere you are, because you share the identity of Christ, you must be rooted in the Word. John 20:21 (NLT). You have been commissioned as light in this darkness, not a complainer.

Let your identity be rooted in Christ.

Be fearless in solving problems. You must see yourself in the light of God’s word, If you are not careful, your focus will shift away from God to the things that are giving you results.

Anywhere you show up, you light must shine, and problems around must be solved. Your identity can not be built on your beauty or title.

Declaration:

I’m a God sent problem solver
As long as I’m in this world, I’m the light of the world
I am more powerful than I think.

This week, solve a practical problem for at least one person. Serve someone with your money, food, or material needs, and the power of God will be activated through you.

Regardless of what may be happening around us, you are a child of God, a light to the world.
