God hears thanksgiving faster than He does our intercession

Engaging covenant channels of blessings

His blessings maketh rich and adds no sorrows

WHAT ARE THE COVENANT CHANNELS OF BLESSINGS ORDAINED FOR US IN SCRIPTURES?

1. Obedience

This constitutes the principal channel of blessing.

We saw Abraham’s Flourishing destiny built on the strong hold of obedience

Genesis 17

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

17 Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

22 And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.

24 And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

26 In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.

27 And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

Genesis 22

Tireless, delight-some, cheerful, obedience.

If you are Abraham’s seed, you do the work of Abraham.

Abraham obeyed to the point of sworn blessings.

Obedience is the covenant principal channel of blessing.

Deuteronomy 28:1

 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

Until you know and embrace obedience, you don’t know His blessings

The weakness of sin:

Sin penetrates through thoughts, if you can stop the thoughts, you have conquered the sin

Mark 7:21-23

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Conquer the thoughts, you have conquered the vices.

How do I stop the thoughts?

Engage the blood, the blood is the only weapon to purge our conscience.

The blood of Jesus speaks liberty.

Fight the thoughts, overcome the thoughts, you have overcome the acts.

Prayer

No evil thoughts will survive in your heart again!

2. The channel of Godliness

This unleashes the blessing supernaturally.

1Timothy 4 :7

7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

Isaiah 32:15-16

15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

It is confidence in God that puts people in command not bold face and righteousness effects confidence, the righteous is as bold as a lion

Isaiah 51:1

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

There is a turnaround that righteousness instills

1John 3:7

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

3. Priestly blessing

God pronounced blessings on Abraham and still brought Melchizedek his way just to confirm His word.

Numbers 6:27

27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

Many lack access to priestly blessing.

One proof of wisdom is pressure free life.

Where you see tension is lack of wisdom.

Wisdom deflates tension.

If Abraham needed priestly blessing, you and me need it much more.

I’m a bundle of priestly blessings, I have had sworn blessings from God but I’ve had priestly blessings from my mentors.

The less is blessed of the better

Hebrews 7:7

And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

When you receive and believe, then the blessings flow

The day you disconnect from the pipe, the blessings stop

One of them said to me, you will go 20 times higher than where I stop…you can’t get that for free, they come through genuine followership

If you raise yourself above your source, the flow will stop

Don’t despise the flow of the virtue into your life or it stops

There’s a place for priestly blessing, every believer needs to locate as it relates to their life.

God will decorate your life

In these terrific days, we need prophetic covering

1Samuel 19:24

24 And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?

The cheapest way to take covering is under prophet as God directs you

I’ve followed Copeland since 1997, I saw God connect me and I began to lookout for what God shows him

Priestly blessings are assets.

2 kings 4:6-7

6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest

These priests are not looking for things, anybody looking for things is a merchant.

Let God lead you to where you belong.

Don’t feel threatened under a prophetic covering, the instructions are for your benefit.

God sends prophets our way, if you are sensitive enough to know whosoever He sends.

Luke 4:24-26

24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

Prophets don’t take from people, they enhance people’s worth So;

A. You don’t receive and believe them, you can’t tap into what they carry

B. You can never outgrow them, river does not flow uphill, it flows down hill

4. Parental blessings

Exodus 20:4

You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth

Ephesians 6:3

Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.

They carry blessings and longevity

God is a God of protocol, He packaged blessing in them and those blessings are provoked as we honor them

Isaiah 65:8

As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says, ‘Do not destroy it, Fora blessing is in it,’ So will I do for My servants’ sake

Don’t pull your shoulders against your parents, it’s a curse

Proverbs 20:20 Whoever curses his father or his mother, His lamp will be put out in deep darkness.

Don’t do “yanga” (meaning guile) to your parents

Some people are struggling today because they are using their being abroad to disconnect from their parents

It is not about where you are, it’s about where your heart is

Don’t sit down at home as a daughter and your mother is cooking.

You sit at home., no job, your father has a business and you’re not having a part to play in it, your mother has a business and you have no part in it

Without genuine honor to your parents, your life will lack honor

Somebody Is saying in his mind, thank God my parents have died, repent of your dishonor while they lived, there are people they left behind, you can’t kill all of them at once, laughs

Everybody needs parental blessings no matter the anointing you carry

There are some devices of the disconnect from the devil to rob us of the blessings of the hour

2Corinthians 2:1

But I determined this within myself, that I would not come again to you in sorrow.

2Timothy 3:2

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy

 Judges 18:7-10,27

7 So the five men departed and went to Laish. They saw the people who were there, how they dwelt safely, in the manner of the Sidonians, quiet and secure. There were no rulers in the land who might put them to shame for anything. They were far from the Sidonians, and they had no ties with anyone.

8 Then the spies came back to their brethren at Zorah and Eshtaol, and their brethren said to them, “What is your report?”

9 So they said, “Arise, let us go up against them. For we have seen the land, and indeed it is very good. Would you do nothing? Do not hesitate to go, and enter to possess the land.

10 When you go, you will come to a secure people and a large land. For God has given it into your hands, a place where there is no lack of anything that is on the earth.”

27 So they took the things Micah had made, and the priest who had belonged to him, and went to Laish, to a people quiet and secure; and they struck them with the edge of the sword and burned the city with fire.

Those folks in Judges, They lost their heritage permanently because they dwelt carelessly, no business with anyone else, lovers of their own self

There is no western bible, you don’t honor your parents, you are loosing honor, what you think about them is nothing, you are harassing your parent? May your children not harass you.

1Timothy 3:2-4

2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;

3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous;

4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence

tells how people get disconnect from this source of blessings

Please note, prophetic blessings are prophetic on nature, God honors it, God orders it, when you connect with it, God confirms it

They are not anything of themselves, they are what God made them to be to us

Elisha told his servant, those that be with us are more than those against us and his fears were allayed

Under your prophetic covering, your enemies will surrender

No one is up to this journey alone, woe unto him that is alone

May your pipe and channel never run dry

Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God so that in due time , He may exalt you
