Becoming a Leader – Part 2

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the concluding part of this teaching. In the previous edition, we established that the seed of a leader has been deposited in us from creation,  and we must know who we are in Christ to be a partaker. This week, we shall examine The Keys to Becoming a Leader.

Know What You Possess: The Word says: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). So, if God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit dwell in you as a teenager, you must manifest the leadership trait they carry. Jesus was a true leader on the earth, so much so that the Pharisees and teachers of the law marvelled at His wisdom. He usually dominates wherever He goes. So, as true ambassadors of Christ, you must replicate what He did on the earth. The Word says: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). Therefore, you must not remain ordinary by this mandate but manifest your leadership status by knowing the works Jesus did and doing more of it.

Know Where You Stand: As a teenager, you must know where you stand. Remember you are seated in heavenly places, far above all the forces of the earth (Ephesians 2:6). More so, the Bible says: He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all (John 3:31). Therefore, you are above everything around you. However, knowing where you stand does not equal pride. Your confidence must be in God only because of the redemptive package he has wrought through Jesus for you.

However, to keep functioning as a leader, you need the help of the Holy spirit. To access the help of the Holy Spirit, you need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. So, if you are not born-again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born-again.

Congratulations! You are now born-again and a child of God. He loves you and will never leave or forsake you. With this, you are guaranteed all-round rest and peace, in Jesus’ name!
