[ARTICLE] THEY LOVE THE PRAISE OF MEN THAN THE PRAISE OF GOD

How many believers today can truly confess Jesus in the face of persecutions ? How many can dare the king and face the consequences for what they believe ? You can testify with me,  very few.  Jesus said it all  the simple reason they cant is because ” they love the praise of men than the praise of God ”

John 12:42-43

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Sincerely,  i bless God for the message of faith,  thank God for the message of Grace,  thank God righteousness,  holiness, but we cannot realize the fulness of maturity in our walk with God without a clear understanding of the message of Persecution. Paul bluntly warns us that every believer must suffer persecution (2nd. Tim .3:12),  we  can’t fast nor pray it off,  the reason you had to lie or cut corners to maintain a job,  maintain a political position is because you don’t understand the message of persecution ,  you love the praise of  men than the praise of  God , the reason you can’t stand for the truth even though it means losing facebook friends is because you love the praise of men than the praise of God . 

I believe this message should leave you in deep thoughts if you are a true believer,  and you should be asking “in what way have i loved the praise of men than God ? In what way have i not stood for what is right and righteous because of the fear of what people will say or the fear of losing a Job or a relationship. If there is something you can find,  this is a good place to stop and repent right away,  ask God for grace to stay faithful in the persecutions that come your way and to come out as a Victor .
