RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM, DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S ORACLE APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN.
WEDNESDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2019.
BIBLE READING: MORNING PROVERBS 19,20, EVENING 2 CORINTHIANS 3.
TOPIC: FIXED AND UNMOVABLE.
TEXT: “They all forsook him and fled” Mark 14:50.
What shall separate us from the love of God? What is that situation, that wants to bring you down? Don’t forsake Him. Roman 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or peril?” Nothing should make us abandon Jesus, deny Him or denounce what we stand for. What we stand to gain because of our faith in Christ is far more than anything. “What can a man give in exchange for His soul?” Mark 8:37.
Jesus said, “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God”. Luke 9:62. Make up your mind to stay with Him till the end. Be willing to pay the price. Matthew 10:38 ” And he that taketh not his cross, and followed after me, is not worthy of me”. There is a price to pay but very insignificant to the great reward you will receive when you overcome. When you look at your reward, it’s worth it. Revelation 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcome, and am sit down with my Father in his throne”. So, your toil, your sacrifice are not in vain.
Jesus said, And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 10:22. Revelation 3:11, “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man takes thy crown”. Child of God, be fixed and unmovable in Him, your labour of love is not in vain. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:58.
Lord, help me to preserve my crown of glory
